One of the highlights this week was a stress workshop for 90 year 6 children who were brilliant! This was held as part of several activities for Children’s Mental Health Week 2019. We chatted about how stress makes you feel and what you experience in your head, body and heart when you are stressed. Also, how this can affect different parts of your life from relationships with friends to loosing at Fortnite!
We collected lots of worries, most were around SATs (Standard Assessment Tests), going to high school and relationships with family and friends but others were more profound. Our main message here is to TELL SOMEONE! Talk to someone you trust about what you are feeling, this may not make the worry go away, but it will make you feel better.
